history

Traces of settlement from the Neolithic were found near Lengenfeld .

The village was first mentioned in 1132; Count Wolfram von Wertheim owned there. Even in the late Middle Ages, the Counts of Wertheim owned Würzburg fiefdoms in Lengenfeld. In 1288, in the will of Wolfram, the last Dornberger († June 9, 1288), Lengenfeld appeared as the property of this family. In 1391 Burgrave Friedrich [VI.] Of Nuremberg gave Lengenfeld as a fief to Wilhelm von Seckendorff zu Jochsberg . In 1409 the burgrave transferred a farm and the sheep farm in Lengenfeld to the city of Ansbach in order to secure a guarantee from the city. According to the 16-point report of the Oberamt Ansbach from 1684, Lengenfeld consisted of 15 margravial teams who were subordinate to the Hofkastenamt Ansbach , specifically a farm with an inn and a brewery, three farms, the Haagmühle, six estates, three thirds of the 1600 split, now desolate (sheep) farm and a house that was rebuilt in 1597. According to Vetterschen Oberamtsbeschreibung from 1732, the hamlet consisted of four farms and nine estates from the Ansbach Hofkastenamt as well as a community shepherd's house and had to give the tithe to the Hofkastenamt. This also took the village and community rule , the Vogtei and the Fraisch perceived. Even at the end of the Old Reich , the Hofkastenamt exercised all rights over Lengenfeld with Hohenmühle , now 19 subjects. It consisted of four half yards, a quarter yard, eight Köbler estates, two little estates, a three quarters estate, the Hohenmühle, an empty house and a smithy. The shepherd's house and the crushing house were communal tax-free property . From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the judiciary and chamber office of Ansbach .

As part of the community edict, Lengenfeld was assigned to the Neunkirchen tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Neunkirchen, founded in 1811 . On January 1, 1972 Lengenfeld was incorporated into the city of Leutershausen as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
