history

According to a listing from 1830, Gutenhard belonged to an extensive forest area between Leutershausen and Sulz Abbey with the main town of Brunst, called "the Brünst" or "the Brunst", which has been cleared in places since the Middle Ages . The Brünst was known for its good cattle breeding; their 22 settlements were considered rich.

The oldest fief books of the Würzburg monastery from the 14th century contain entries on Gutenhard. According to a listing from 1342, the Ansbach Canonical Monastery in Gutenhard had five subjects. In the 14th century, the Lords of Seckendorff zu Jochsberg acquired property in Gutenhard. With regard to Fraisch , the settlement agreement of 1710, which ended the dispute between the Hohenlohe house and the Principality of Brandenburg-Ansbach , awarded the hamlet to the Margrave of Ansbach. According to the 16-point reports of the Ansbach office of Brunst from 1608 and 1681, Gutenhard and Steinberg formed a community. Nine properties of the community were valid , taxable and tenable for the Colmberg caste office and vogtable for the Leutershausen municipal bailiff . Gutenhard himself consisted of five teams, namely one courtyard and four half-courtyards; the municipality rulership was also with the office Leutershausen. Shepherd's house and crushing house belonged to the community. Nothing about that changed until the end of the Old Kingdom . From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice Office Leutershausen and Chamber Office Colmberg .

In 1806 Gutenhard came to the new Kingdom of Bavaria . As part of the community edict, Gutenhard was assigned to the Brunst tax district, which was formed in 1808 . In 1810 the rural community Erlach was formed, to which Gutenhard also belonged.

The municipality of Erlach and Gutenhard with it were incorporated into the town of Leutershausen in the district of Ansbach on May 1, 1978 as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
