history

Kressenhof / Cressenhof was probably mentioned for the first time in 1544, namely in a margravial fiefdom for the Lords of Jochsberg ; the fiefdom referred to a half courtyard. In the 16-point report of the Brandenburg-Ansbach office of Leutershausen from 1608, two teams were recorded for the place. They were vogt to the Lords of Seckendorff zu Jochsberg -, valid -. taxable and loanable. Also in the 16-point report of 1681 and in the Vetterschen Oberamtsbeschreibung from 1732 two farms were recorded that belonged to the Vogtamt Jochsberg and were parish to St. Peter in Leutershausen. The tithe was to be paid to the Brandenburg-Ansbach Office of Colmberg . The municipal authority and the bailiwick of inner Ettern lay with the Jochsberger office, the Fraisch was still carried out by the town bailiff office in Leutershausen. Towards the end of the Old Kingdom , Kressenhof consisted of four half courtyards and a community shepherd's house. The lordly conditions were unchanged. From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice Office Leutershausen and Chamber Office Colmberg .

As part of the municipal edict, Kressenhof was assigned to the Auerbach tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Auerbach, founded in 1810 . On January 1, 1972, Kressenhof was incorporated into Leutershausen as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
