history

In 911 Wends were relocated from the Main Valley near Bamberg to the area around the Ansbach Monastery of St. Gumbertus . "Wineden" was first mentioned in a document in 1274.

According to the 16-point report of the Brandenburg-Ansbach office of Leutershausen from 1608, Winden and the Froschmühle consisted of 18 teams, half Brandenburg and half noble men. The 16-point report from 1681 states that in 1669/1670 three subjects who formerly belonged to the rule of Schenk von Geyern zu Wiesethbruck - formerly owned by the Stettner zu Leutershausen - were bought by the Brandenburg-Ansbach caste office in Colmberg , so that the caste office as a whole had four subjects in winds. Other subjects belonged to the Brandenburg-Ansbach administration office Brunst and six teams to the Eyb'schen Rittergut Rammersdorf - Wiedersbach . The Leutershausen office was entitled to high and low authorities .

According to the Vetterschen Oberammts description of 1732, there were 17 subjects in Winden, seven of which belonged to the Leutershausen municipal bailiff, four to the Colmberg caste and six to the Rammersdorf manor. There was also a parish shepherd's house. The place was parish after St. Peter in Leutershausen, the tithe had to be given to the rule Eyb. The community rulership and the shepherd's staff was disputed between the Eyb house and the Leutershausen Vogtamt. The Vogtei inner Etters held every manorial rule on its subjects, the Vogtei except Etters and the Fraisch exercised the Vogtamt Leutershausen. At the end of the Old Kingdom the box office Colmberg included three half yards, four Köbler goods , a Söldengütlein , a mill and an economy that the Council Ansbach Halbhof the country care, that of Eyb'schen manor Rammersdorf a Halbhof and five Köbler goods and the Stadtvogtei Office Leutershausen a Söldengütlein the chaplain Leutershausen. The shepherd's house and the crushing house were in the hands of the community. From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice Office Leutershausen and Chamber Office Colmberg .

As part of the community edict, Winden was assigned to the Leutershausen tax district formed in 1808 . It belonged to the rural community Mittelramstadt founded in 1810 . Winden appointed the mayor three times (1859, 1906 and 1968). From 1820 to 1842 the seven von Eybschen Grundholden in Winden were subordinate to the first class patrimonial court in Wiedersbach. In 1846 traders were named: 1 innkeeper, 3 weavers, 1 tailor.

On January 1, 1972, Winden was incorporated into Leutershausen as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
