Bauzenweiler (colloquially: Bauts ə wail ə ) is a district of the city of Leutershausen in the district of Ansbach in the administrative district of Middle Franconia .
geography
The hamlet lies on a nameless stream, which is a right tributary of the Sachsaugraben, which in turn is a left tributary of the Altmühl . This creek feeds the Oberweiher, Langsweiher and Brechhausweiher. In the northeast there is the lohholz , in the east the lions and deerwood and in the southwest the seawood . Approx. The Spielberg ( 488 m above sea level ) rises 0.75 km to the east .
The place is tangent to the east of the state road 2245 , which leads south to Leutershausen (3 km) and north to Colmberg (2.7 km). The district road AN 20 , which branches off the state road to the east in the south of the village , leads to Auerbach (1.2 km), a communal road to Höchstetten (2 km) north of the village from the state road to the west .
Place name interpretation
From the place name one can deduce the nickname Bûzo (the fat one), with which the former, probably early medieval owner was referred to.
history
"Bavzenweyler" is mentioned for the first time in a document from the Gumbertus monastery in Ansbach from 1342, which identifies the three subjects of the hamlet as belonging to the monastery. In the 14./15. In the 17th century, the Feuchtwangen collegiate monastery owned 16 fiefdoms in Bauzenweiler. According to a directory from 1410, the Seckendorff zu Jochsberg family owned goods and rights to Bauzenweiler, acquired in 1408 by a Hans Gernot and his wife Anna. Two years later, Walther von Seckendorff zu Jochsberg lost this property again through an arbitration award to a certain Wernitzer and his wife. In 1607 Hans Wilhelm von Eyb transferred his subject in Bauzenweiler to the Brandenburg-Ansbach Margrave Joachim Ernst in a settlement procedure . According to the 16-point reports from the years 1608 and 1681, Bauzenweiler and its three teams were subordinate to the Brandenburg-Ansbach municipal bailiff of Leutershausen ; Duties had to be paid by two farms to the Leutershausen council and by the former Eyb subjects, a Köblergut , to the Brandenburg-Ansbach caste office in Colmberg . Towards the end of the 18th century nothing changed in terms of rulership and ownership. In addition to the three properties, the shepherd's house is also mentioned, which was a communal building. Four fish ponds belonged to the city of Leutershausen. From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice Office Leutershausen and Chamber Office Colmberg .
As part of the municipal edict, Bauzenweiler was assigned to the Auerbach tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Auerbach, founded in 1810 . On January 1, 1972, Bauzenweiler was incorporated into Leutershausen as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
