Hannoversches Volksblatt

The Hannoversche people sheet was from 1840 in Hannover appearing newspaper that by Wilhelm Schroeder was founded and edited.

The city lexicon of Hanover does not list a separate keyword for this; Online information from the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Library and the library of the Lower Saxony State Parliament are in some cases still incomplete or contradictory.

On the one hand, the Hannoversche Volksblatt was published with the addition “patriotic messages for entertainment and instruction for readers of all levels” about Helwing , initially four times a week, later only weekly. A continuous publication frequency up to 1851 or up to the edition “16.1855” has not yet been documented. However, a “new sequence” “1.1879” as well as “IX” and “X-1880” are proven.

On the other hand, was in 1840 Hannoversches people sheet of all classes for readers over Schlüter appeared. The Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Library holds volumes from 1840, 1844, 1849–1852 and 1854–1855.
