Hanns Sander

Hanns Sander (incorrectly also "Hans Sander"), actually Johannes Sander (born January 18, 1888 , † 1968 in Verden (Aller) ) was a German government architect, local politician ( NSDAP ) and Lord Mayor of Dessau from 1933 to 1945.

Life

After the expulsion of his predecessor Fritz Hesse , whose function was initially temporarily held by the lawyer Emil Evers in March 1933, the former government builder was appointed. D. and City Councilor from Quedlinburg Hanns Sander appointed acting Lord Mayor of Dessau on April 1, 1933. On May 31, 1933, he was confirmed in this office for a period of twelve years. Hanns Sander was a member of the NSDAP (membership number 379.945) and SS-Sturmbannführer (membership number 276.269), since April 20, 1941 SS-Obersturmbannführer .
