Hans-Dieter Kempf

Hans-Dieter Kempf (* May 4, 1960 ; † May 3, 2017 ) is one of the key participants in the establishment and further development of the back school movement in Germany.

Kempf studied physics and sports science at the University of Karlsruhe and developed the Karlsruhe Back School in 1986. He is co-founder and board member of the Forum Gesunder Back - Better Live e. V. Since 1993 he has been working independently as a trainer, project manager, consultant and specialist author as well as a speaker and lecturer for numerous institutions. He looks after various prevention and rehabilitation groups .
