Hans-Dietrich Raapke

Hans-Dietrich Raapke (born January 5, 1929 in Hanover ; † February 10, 2016 ). From 1965 to 1997 he was Professor of Education and Adult Education at the PH Oldenburg and from 1974 at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg . In particular, he became known as a co-author of the so-called "Göttingen Study" (1966).

Career

Raapke taught and researched from 1965 until his retirement in 1997 at the University of Oldenburg. From 1970 to 1972 he was rector of the PH Oldenburg and from 1979 to 1980 provisional university president of the University of Oldenburg.

Merits

Raapke made a lasting contribution to the reform of teacher training.
