Hans-Georg Dederer

Hans-Georg Dederer (born January 24, 1967 in Stuttgart ) is a German legal scholar .

Life

From 1987 to 1988 he studied technical cybernetics at the University of Stuttgart , from 1988 to 1991 law at the Eberhard-Karls-Universität Tübingen and from 1991 to 1992 law at the University of Konstanz . In 1992 he passed the first state examination in law. From 1988 to 1992 he was a scholarship holder of the German National Academic Foundation . In 1993 he received the “Prize for good exams after short periods of study” from the Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft. From 1992 to 1995 he completed the legal preparatory service in Konstanz and Washington, DC From 1992 to 1995 he was a research assistant at the University of Konstanz (Chair Matthias Herdegen). In 1995 he passed the second state examination in law. From 1995 to 1997 he was a research assistant at the University of Bonn (Chair Matthias Herdegen ). After receiving his doctorate in 1997 as Dr. jur. ( Bonn ) he was a research assistant from 1997 to 2003 (chair Prof. Dr. Matthias Herdegen). In 2003 he received the venia legendi for the subjects constitutional and administrative law, international and European law as well as comparative law from the law and political science faculty (Bonn). From 2003 to 2008 he was senior assistant (chair Matthias Herdegen). From 2003 to 2008 he represented chairs at the Law and Political Science Faculty of the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn (Institute for Canon Law, summer semester 2003; Institute for International Law, winter semester 2004/2005 and 2006/2007); at the Law Faculty of the Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf (chair for German and foreign public law, international law and European law, winter semester 2007/2008); at the Law Faculty of the Eberhard Karls University Tübingen (Chair for Public Law including International Law, summer semester 2008); at the Law Faculty of the University of Passau (Chair for Constitutional and Administrative Law, European and International Business Law, winter semester 2008/2009). In 2008 he received offers to the University of Copenhagen (Chair for European Law) and the University of Passau (Chair for Constitutional and Administrative Law, European and International Business Law) as well as an offer to the University of Hanover (Chair for Public Law, in particular Technology Law). In 2009 he was appointed professor at the University of Passau (chair for constitutional and administrative law, international law, European and international business law). Since 2011 he has been a liaison professor for the German National Academic Foundation at the University of Passau (since 2013 in charge). From 2013 to 2015 he was chairman of the foreign affairs committee (foreign affairs officer) of the Law Faculty of the University of Passau. From 2014 to 2015 he was a member of the Senate and the University Council of the University of Passau. From 2014 to 2016 he was Vice Dean of the Law Faculty of the University of Passau. From 2016 to 2018 he was Dean of the Law Faculty of the University of Passau. Since 2018 he has been a member of the Standing Senate Commission of the DFG on fundamental issues in genetic research.
