Hans-Georg Wolff

Hans-Georg Wolff (* 1969 ) is a German psychologist .

Life

Hans-Georg Wolff studied psychology at the University of Giessen . In 2004 he received his doctorate from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg . For this dissertation he received the doctoral award from the Hermann Gutmann Foundation in Weißenburg. He also completed his habilitation at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in 2010. In 2011, he was a substitute professor at the University of Würzburg at the chair for work, industrial and organizational psychology. Since the summer semester 2013 he has been professor of organizational and business psychology at the University of Cologne .

His main research areas are: networking, escalation of commitment and classification methods and test development. His work on the psychological dimension of networking in particular has received a lot of attention.
