Hans-Gert Oomen

Hans-Gert Oomen (born July 10, 1941 in Soest ) is a German historian .

Life

Oomen 1971 received his doctorate at the University of Tübingen with a dissertation on the royal court in Heilbronn Dr. phil. and was professor of history and history didactics at the Ludwigsburg University of Education . Together with Dr. Thomas Berger-von der Heide, 2009 retired teacher at the Georg-Christoph-Lichtenberg-Gesamtschule in Göttingen and in the 1980s editor of the "Journal für Geschichte", which was discontinued in 1991, he is the editor of the textbook Discover , which has been published by Cornelsen Verlag in Berlin since 1987 and understand , a history book for secondary schools and comprehensive schools.
