Hans-Heinrich Preussinger
Hans-Heinrich Preußinger (* 1951 in Mainz ) was President of the Rhineland-Palatinate State Criminal Police Office in Mainz from March 1, 1990 to March 1, 2009 .
Career
Preussinger studied law and passed his first state examination in 1971 . The second state examination in law followed in 1979, before he was hired by the Koblenz district government in October 1979 . After moving to the Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry of the Interior, he took on various functions there. On March 1, 1990, he was appointed President of the State Criminal Police Office.
On March 1, 2009 Preußinger moved to the Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry of the Interior to head the Office for the Protection of the Constitution. His successor was Wolfgang Hertinger .
