Hans-Herbert Ulrich

Hans-Herbert Ulrich (born March 13, 1886 in Freiburg in Silesia , † 1971 in Munich ) was a German writer and film producer .

Live and act

Ulrich was initially active as an officer, businessman and writer before he became chief dramaturge in 1919 and production manager of the Deutsche Lichtbild-Gesellschaft that same year .

In 1927 he moved to UFA and in 1935, together with his colleague Ernst Krüger, formed the Krüger-Ulrich manufacturing group. In the three years of this collaboration produced together with Ulrich Krüger as a co-production or co- production manager some two dozen films. In 1938 Ulrich was taken over again by the UFA.

After the end of the war, Ulrich temporarily resumed his work as a writer and in 1950 acted twice as production manager for Berlin's Skala-Film.
