Hans-Jürgen Baumann

Hans-Jürgen Baumann (born May 12, 1923 in Cologne ; † September 16, 1981 ) was a German politician, first of the FDP , then the CDU .

education and profession

Hans-Jürgen Baumann attended secondary school and then secondary school. He completed an economic and technical self-study. Baumann worked as a machine worker at Ford and was a technical and commercial employee. He worked as a clerk for technical literature and as a technical-commercial manager of an automobile company. He also worked as a chief assistant in a company in the same branch and was a freelancer at an institute for transport science. From 1940 to 1945 he did military service and was captured, from which he was able to escape.

politics

Hans-Jürgen Baumann was a member of the FDP until October 1952. In October 1952 he resigned from the FDP and became a member of the CDU. From 1948 to 1950 he was a city councilor in Cologne. He acted as the state leader of the German Young Democrats and was a member of the state executive committee of the FDP North Rhine-Westphalia , the federal main committee of the FDP and assessor in the FDP federal executive committee .

From July 5, 1950 to July 4, 1954, Hans-Jürgen Baumann was a member of the 2nd state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia , into which he entered via the state list of the FDP.
