Hans-Jürgen Nagel

Hans-Jürgen Nagel (born January 12, 1938 in Hildesheim ) is a Lower Saxony politician ( CDU ) and member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Nagel first attended elementary school and later high school. In April 1957 he started an agricultural apprenticeship after his school education which he successfully completed. He then took up a two-year practical administrator activity in Einbeck . Between 1960 and 1961 he completed a course at the higher agricultural school in Witzenhausen and successfully completed it with the exam to become a state-certified farmer. He then worked in agricultural practice for five years. In July 1967 he took over his father's business in Eime .

He became a member of the Junge Union and was a member of the CDU since 1965. Nagel was district chairman for many years in both organizations and also held honorary functions in various agricultural professional organizations. He was a member of the supervisory board of Überlandwerke Leinetal in Alfeld and a member of the board of directors of Kreissparkasse Alfeld . He had been a councilor in Eime since 1968 and became a member of the district council in Alfeld and Hildesheim in 1972. Nagel became a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament in the ninth electoral period from November 4, 1980 to June 20, 1982.
