Hans-Jürgen Pertus

Hans-Jürgen Pertus (born September 14, 1945 ) is a former German basketball player and coach.

Life

The 1.87 meter tall Pertus played for SG KPV 69 Halle, the team with which he became basketball champion of the German Democratic Republic . He also ran for the GDR national team.

When Basketball Association Saxony-Anhalt he was from 1990 to 1998 lecturer for mini-basketball. In 2004 he led the women of SV Halle as a coach in the women's basketball league , in 2005 they were relegated, in the second division season 2005/06 Halle was runner-up with Pertus as coach, after which they split up. In addition, the club's female U20s won the German championship title in 2006 under his leadership. From 2006 to 2010 he was the coach of the men's team at USV Halle . In 2008 he was honored for his voluntary work in basketball as part of an initiative of the German Basketball Federation .
