Hans-Joachim Dobberkau
Hans-Joachim Dobberkau (born April 5, 1933 in Goldbeck ; † July 11, 2018 ) was a German medic .
Life
After Dobberkau in 1951 Stendal had graduated from high school he studied at the Humboldt University in Berlin medicine and approved in 1956. Two years later he received his doctorate.
Dobberkau headed the Research Institute for Hygiene and Microbiology (FHM) in Bad Elster from 1972 to 1990 . Several reference laboratories for disinfection, sterilization and water hygiene were set up under his direction; Since 1987, the FHM has been the World Health Organization (WHO) collaborating center for medical aspects of environmental protection.
