Hans-Joachim Kühn

Hans-Joachim Kühn (* 1958 in Völklingen ) is a German historian .

Life

Hans-Joachim Kühn comes from a Saarland-Palatinate family. After graduating from high school in 1977, he studied history and classical philology in Saarbrücken and Tübingen . After completing his doctorate in history, he worked as the city archivist in Püttlingen from 1985 to 1988 and then from 1989 to 1999 as a museum advisor for the non-state museums in Saarland at the Saarland Museum Association. He has been working as a freelancer since 2000, including as a lecturer in regional history at Saarland University since 2001 and as an employee at the chair for medieval history from 2010 to 2012.

Hans-Joachim Kühn is married and has three children.
