Hans-Karl Uhl

Hans-Karl Uhl (born July 22, 1943 in Vienna ) is a former Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and SPÖ district secretary. From 1985 to 1997 he was a member of the state parliament of Lower Austria .

Life

Uhl attended secondary school after primary school and then completed an apprenticeship as a machine fitter. He subsequently worked as a toolmaker and assembly foreman and in 1974 became district secretary of the SPÖ. Uhl was involved in local politics between 1970 and 1995 as a local councilor, and on November 7, 1985 he succeeded Franz Fürst in the Lower Austrian state parliament, where he was a member of parliament until November 26, 1997.
