Hans-Martin Sixt

Hans-Martin Sixt (born May 10, 1937 in Stuttgart ) is a German theologian and politician ( SPD ) from Bremen and was a member of the Bremen citizenship .

Sixt worked as a pastor in Bremen.

politics

Sixt is a member of the SPD. He was active in the Bremen SPD local association Old Town (OVA).

From 1971 to 1987 he was a member of the Bremen citizenship for the SPD for 16 years and worked in various deputations and committees of the citizenship. From 1983 to 1987 he was secretary in the citizenry.

Citizens' initiative against the Mozart route

Sixt participated as a member of the SPD local association Altstadt in the citizens' initiative against the Mozart route . According to the plans of the Bremen Senate, the Mozarttrasse should cut through the district as a bypass road . The fight against the Mozart route lasted several years and the route could be prevented. Instead, a thorough urban redevelopment was carried out in the Ostertor district in the 1970s to 1990s with the help of urban development funding.

Honors

In 2009, the Ostertorsanierung working group received the Bremen Award for Building Culture from the Bremen Building Senator and the Bremen Center for Building Culture (BZB). The awardees also included the members of the working group: Dieter Decker, Olaf Dinné , Hanna Ehmcke, Hans-Jürgen Kahrs, Ursel Kerstein , Thomas Kerstein, Wolfgang Linder, Uwe Martin, Karsten Schwerdtfeger, Gert Settje, Ulrike Schellpeper and Herbert Wulfekuhl. The former mayor Hans Koschnick took a. a. the laudatory speech.
