Hans-Peter Greiner

Hans-Peter Greiner (born December 25, 1943 in Ulm ) is a German lawyer. He was a judge at the Federal Court of Justice from 1993 to the end of 2008 . In addition, he wrote, among other things, a book that is considered fundamental for practical work in the field of medical liability.

Career

Hans-Peter Greiner began his career in 1972 in the higher judicial service of the state of Baden-Württemberg , where he initially worked as a judge at the district and regional court in Ulm . In 1974 he became a public prosecutor at the Ulm Regional Court, and in 1975 he was again a judge at the Ulm Regional Court. In 1985 he was appointed judge at the Stuttgart Higher Regional Court and subsequently belonged to various civil panels of the Higher Regional Court. In 1995 he became a judge at the Federal Court of Justice. Initially, he worked there in the X. Civil Senate , which was concerned with patent law , but in July 1996 he switched to VI, which was concerned with medical liability law . Civil Senate of the Federal Court of Justice .
