Hans-Peter Howaldt

Hans-Peter Howaldt (born June 20, 1956 in Berlin ) is a German oral and maxillofacial surgeon at the Giessen University Hospital.

Career

After graduating from high school in Berlin, Howaldt studied dentistry and human medicine at the Free University of Berlin and the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen . In 1976 he became a member of the Corps Neoborussia Berlin and the Corps Guestphalia Erlangen . He was promoted to Dr. med. dent. (1980) and Dr. med. (1983) PhD . In 1983 he joined the jaw clinic at the University Hospital Frankfurt am Main . In 1990 he qualified as a professor for oral and maxillofacial surgery. In 1992 he obtained the additional title of plastic surgery . The Justus Liebig University in Giessen appointed him as head of department in 1994 and as a professor in 1997 . From time immemorial, the oncology prescribed, he is committed to the German Cancer Society and international professional associations. He sat on the board of the German Society for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery .
