Hans-Peter Trojek

Hans-Peter Trojek (born January 28, 1968 in Donauwörth ) is a German journalist .

Life

In Donauwörth he graduated from the local high school .

Since October 1, 2012, he has been Head of Corporate Communications for Electronic Media at Volkswagen AG . From 2010 to 2012 he headed the Lower Saxony state studio of the Second German Television (ZDF) in Hanover. Before that he worked as a reporter for the ZDF's heute journal . From March to October 2009 he was a correspondent at the ZDF studio in Beijing. From September 2004 to August 2007 he was head of the ZDF studio in Johannesburg and responsible for southern Africa. Before that, he worked as a reporter worldwide for ZDF for three years. Overall, Trojek reported from more than 35 countries. Between 1996 and 1999 he was, among other things, editor and reporter for the ZDF programs heute-journal , evening magazine , hello germany , tonight and people today .

Hans-Peter Trojek volunteered at the Augsburger Allgemeine newspaper from 1987 to 1989 and worked there as an editor until October 1991, primarily in the newsroom. From 1991 to 1995 he studied political science and international relations with a focus on European politics at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium). While studying, he worked as a freelance journalist for the ZDF studio in Brussels. In 1999 Trojek spent several weeks in the USA (Duke University, Washington DC, New York) as a scholarship holder of the Rias Berlin Commission.

From December 2006 to March 2009 Trojek was married to the ZDF presenter Yvonne Ransbach .
