Hanns Aderhold

Hanns Aderhold (born May 13, 1919 in Osnabrück , † August 4, 1987 in Wellinghofen ) was a German water diver , multiple German champion, European champion and Olympic participant.

For his sporting success he was awarded the Silver Laurel Leaf on August 12, 1951.

Olympic rings

He was German champion six times (1941, 1942 and 1943 as well as 1950, 1951 and 1952) in the Olympic discipline of jumping from the three-meter board. At the European Swimming Championships in Vienna in 1950 , he became European champion of the 3-meter board jumpers. In 1952 he took part in the Summer Olympics in Helsinki and finished eleventh in his discipline.

He started for VfL Osnabrück and was most recently a member of the “Swim Club Gronau 1910”.
