Hans Albrecht (editor)
Hans Albrecht (born August 18, 1873 in Cassel , † after 1935 ) was a German editor.
Life
He was the son of a royal government secretary and chancellery and his wife Marie née Uberich. After attending Realschule and Realgymnasium in Cassel, Hans Albrecht originally wanted to pursue a career as an official, but he refrained from doing so and devoted himself to writing and journalistic activities. He became an editor for Casseler and foreign newspapers, for which he mainly wrote reviews. He also published novels and feature articles in periodicals.
In 1893 he published the military yearbook for young and old soldiers in Leipzig, Der Kamerad , which, however, found little acceptance and which was therefore not continued by Hans Albrecht. Thereupon he was editor of the Hessische Dorfzeitung and editor of the Swinemünder Zeitung .
In the winter of 1900, Hans Albrecht got a job as director's secretary and chief inspector at the Rostock City Theater under director Richard Hagen.
In his free time he devoted himself to graphology. He lived in the Kassel district of Wehlheiden .
