Hans Ammerbacher

Hans Ammerbacher (* in the 19th century; † in the 20th century) was a German soccer player who reached the final of the German championship with SpVgg Fürth in 1920 .

Career

Ammerbacher played for FC Schneidig Fürth until 1917 and for VfB Nürnberg until 1919 , before moving to SpVgg Fürth for the 1919/20 season and remained there as a defender until the end of the 1920/21 season. In the two seasons he played a total of 26 point games in the championships held by the South German Football Association in the Northern Bavarian District League . Although he finished second with his team behind 1. FC Nürnberg , he took part in the final round of the German championship with SpVgg Fürth, as defending champion from 1914 . He played the quarter-finals, won 7-0 on May 16, 1920 against VfTuR 1889 M. Gladbach , the semi-finals won 4-0 on May 30, 1920 at the United Breslauer Sportfreunde and the June 13, 1920 in Frankfurt am Main 0: 2 lost final against 1. FC Nürnberg.
