Hans Böhm (economist)

Hans Böhm (born before 1968) is a German economist . From 1992 to 2007 he was managing director of the German Society for Personnel Management . He has been working as a management and personnel consultant since 2008 .

Life

From 1968 onwards, Böhm studied business administration at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg ( Diplom-Kaufmann ). He became a member of the Landsmannschaft Hansea Nürnberg in the CC . Böhm then worked as a research assistant at the chair for general business administration and corporate management ( Horst Steinmann ) and was awarded a doctoral thesis in the field of economics and social sciences in 1977 . From 1977 to 1981 he was head of department at the Robert Bosch Foundation . From 1981 to 1985 he was in charge of “Personnel Development and Deployment” at Audi . From 1986 to 1992 he was Head of Human Resources and Social Affairs and authorized signatory at Festo ; In this function he was an honorary judge at the Stuttgart Labor Court from 1990 to 1992.

In 1992 he took over the sole management of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Personalführung (DGFP). He held this office until 2007. From 1993 to 1995 Böhm was Secretary General and from 1995 to 1997 President of the European Association for People Management (EAPM). As President of the EAPM, he was also a member of the Board of Directors of the World Federation of Personnel Management Associations (WFPMA). In 1997 he was elected Vice President of WFPMA for an unlimited period. Since 2000, Böhm has been the superior of the managing directors of the CR Poensgen Foundation and from 2004 to 2006 took over the management of the CR Poensgen Foundation himself.

Since 2008 he has been self-employed as a management and personnel consultant in Bredstedt .

Until 2009, Böhm was a lecturer in leadership and collaboration at the University of Hamburg .
