Hans Bauer (born December 11, 1903 in Bayrischzell , † December 30, 1992 there ) was a German skier. He specialized in cross-country skiing and Nordic combined .
Career
Bauer belonged to the Bayrischzeller Kleeblatt together with Fritz Pellkofer and Gustl Müller . In 1922, the athletes finally founded the Bayrischzell Ski Club and in 1930 the Bayrischzeller Ski School. In 1927 and 1928 he became German champions in cross-country skiing with the 4 × 10 kilometer relay of the Bavarian Ski Association . He also took part in the 1928 Winter Olympics in St. Moritz in cross-country skiing over the distances of 18 km (20th place) and 50 km (12th place).
Bauer took part in the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1929 in Nordic Combined and finished the competition in ninth place.
Farmer was a farmer by profession and worked as a ski instructor in winter. He was nicknamed "Zeller Hahn".
