Hans Birth

Hans Birth (born May 22, 1887 in Groß Arnsdorf , district of Mohrungen ; † January 9, 1961 in Berlin ) was a German teacher and politician ( SPD ).

Life

Birth attended the teachers' seminar , which he successfully completed. From 1919 to 1923 he worked as a teacher in Groß Blaustein and from 1924 to 1933 as the main teacher in Lauth near Königsberg .

Birth was a member of the Provincial Parliament of the Province of East Prussia from 1919 to 1921 and again from 1929 to 1933 . Towards the end of the first legislative period, he was briefly a member of the Prussian state parliament in 1924 . In the general election of September 1930, he was a candidate in the constituency 1 (East Prussia) to the Reichstag , but won no mandate.

Birth last lived in West Berlin , where he died in 1961.
