Hans Brümmer (engineer)

Hans Brümmer (* 1937 ) is a German electrical engineer and university professor .

life and work

After training as a radio and television technician, Brümmer studied electrical engineering in Hanover and Braunschweig. After he headed a research and development department for aeronautical equipment from 1965 to 1975, he was appointed professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Hanover University of Applied Sciences (now Hanover University ) in 1975. He was visiting professor at the Zhejiang Science and Technology College .

From 2002 to 2014 Brümmer was a board member and chairman of the science and technology section of the German Society for Photography (DGPh).

Brümmer deals with questions of digital photography , long-term archiving and electronic device technology .
