Zhejiang University of Science and Technology
The Zhejiang University of Science and Technology (Chinese: 浙江 科技 学院, Pinyin: Zhèjiāng Kējì Xuéyuàn ), or ZUST for short, is a full-time university in the People's Republic of China . It is located in Hangzhou , the capital of southeast China's Zhejiang Province . The university offers a wide range of courses in technology, science, culture, economics, administration and education, with a focus on engineering.
history
In 1980 the university was founded. In 1985, an agreement was signed between the Zhejiang provincial government and the state of Lower Saxony on further expansion. Since then there has been a regular exchange of students and professors.
The ZUST currently has 14 faculties and institutes with 39 different courses. The number of students is over 18,500. There are over 200 Chinese students in Germany.
As part of the projects, a number of internship workshops and laboratories have been set up at ZUST.
Cooperations
Since 2000, the ZUST has agreed a “Sino-German cooperative training program” with the German University of Hanover , the Nuremberg University of Applied Sciences and several other German universities, under which many Chinese students go to Germany every year. This gives you the opportunity to receive two certificates; one from the ZUST and one from the respective university of applied sciences in Germany. ZUST has also agreed to cooperate with countries in America, France, Australia, Italy and other areas in China.
