Peter Friedrich Brosch

Peter Friedrich Brosch (born October 18, 1934 ) is a German electrical engineer and professor emeritus at the University of Hanover .

Life

After graduating from high school, Brosch first completed an apprenticeship as an electrical mechanic, which was followed by studies at the Technical University of Hanover . There he received his doctorate in 1967 under Heinz Jordan with a thesis on "electrical remote lathe shafts with additional apparent resistances in the rotor circle". After working as a managing partner in an engineering office, he was appointed professor at the Hanover University of Applied Sciences (today: Hanover University of Applied Sciences) in 1971. Z. teaches servo technology.

Awards

Brosch is an honorary professor at Zhejiang University of Science and Technology and Hefei University. In 2013 he received the West Lake Friendship Award .
