Hans Dörre

Hans Dörre (born November 14, 1946 in Essen ) is a former German football player .

The midfielder began his professional career in 1965 at Rot-Weiss Essen (RWE) and was a regular Bundesliga player for Essen in the 1970s . He made 120 Bundesliga appearances by the time his club was relegated in 1977 and scored eight goals. He was the only player who was used in all seven Bundesliga seasons of RWE. In addition, he played five seasons with the Red-Whites in the Regionalliga West and another in the 2nd Bundesliga . Here he played eleven games and scored two goals. For RWE, Hans Dörre had a total of 256 games in which he scored 12 goals.

End of career

After coach Diethelm Ferner was signed , Dörre saw no future at RWE and joined the then top division club FV Bad Honnef , where he suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon. This ultimately led to the end of his career. He found a new field of activity in the print shop of the then second chairman of the FV, where he is production manager. Dörre lives with his wife in Rheinbreitbach near Bad Honnef.
