Hans Diettrich

Hans Diettrich (born July 20, 1919 in Aspang-Markt ; † December 17, 1987 in Wiener Neustadt ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and master chimney sweep. From 1964 to 1983 he was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .

Life

Diettrich attended a commercial school after primary and secondary school and in 1949 passed the master's examination as a chimney sweep. He became self-employed in 1956 and became a chamber councilor, department head and, in 1965, deputy state guild master. Diettrich was awarded the professional title of Kommerzialrat .

From 1955 he was politically active as a local councilor in Aspang, in 1962 he took over the office of vice mayor, after which he was mayor of the community from 1968 to 1987. He represented the ÖVP in the state parliament between November 19, 1964 and November 4, 1983.
