Hans Eichler

Hans Eichler (* July 18, 1879 , † 1956 ) was a German mining assessor and manager of the coal and steel industry.

Life

Eichler studied in Marburg, where he became a member of the Corps Teutonia in 1899 . After completing his studies, he passed the mountain trainee and mountain assessor examination and initially worked in the civil service. He then moved to mine management. He became mine director and in 1916 deputy board member of Gelsenkirchener Bergwerks-AG . In 1926 he became a board member of the United Steel Works , in which the Gelsenkirchener Bergwerks-AG (GBAG) had merged as the largest single group. In 1927 he resigned from the board of directors at GBAG in order to be able to concentrate on the board duties at the United Steelworks. After the Second World War he lived in Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe.
