Hans Eisenkolb
Hans Eisenkolb (born April 16, 1905 in Linz , † April 2, 1978 there ) was an Austrian politician ( NSDAP ) and SS leader .
Live and act
After attending primary and secondary school, Hans Eisenkolb learned the goldsmith's trade. After working in this profession for a number of years, he made his living as a businessman. From 1922 to 1926 he was a member of the SA . He joined the NSDAP at the beginning of April 1932 ( membership number 91.133) and initially worked for the party as a propaganda and district leader. From 1934 to 1936 he was district leader of the NSDAP district of Wels and then until the spring of 1938 deputy district leader in Gau Upper Austria . From 1934 onwards he was arrested several times for illegal political activity and imprisoned after being punished by the police.
A few weeks after the "annexation" of Austria to the German Reich in March 1938 Eisenkolb was appointed deputy Gauleiter of the Gau on May 24, 1938 Oberdonau appointed. He held this office until May 27, 1940. From April 1938 until the end of the Nazi regime in the spring of 1945, Eisenkolb was a member of the German National Socialist Reichstag . Eisenkolb achieved the rank of standard leader in the SS. He was a member of the Oberbank Supervisory Board.
During the Second World War , he did part of the military service from mid-November 1939. From December 1941 he was provisional administrator in Gmünd, initially for two years.
After the war he ran a trading agency in Linz .
