Hans Fagius

Hans Fagius (born April 10, 1951 in Norrköping , Sweden ) is a Swedish organist .

Fagius has been a professor at the Royal Danish Conservatory of Music in Copenhagen since 1989 . He studied with Alf Linder and Maurice Duruflé, among others . Fagius performs an intensive concert activity, especially in Europe. He has recorded many CDs, including Johann Sebastian Bach's complete organ works (17 CDs in total). He is often invited to master classes and, as a member of the jury , is consulted at organ competitions.

Hans Fagius is a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Music . He is the brother of the neurologist Jan Fagius .
