Hans Ferdinand Plitt , also Hans F. Plitt (* December 31, 1917 , † March 31, 2008 ) was a German officer, most recently in the rank of general . Like Claus Schenk Graf von Stauffenberg , he was a member of the 17 cavalry regiment , the so-called Bamberg riders .
