Hans Friedenthal
Hans Friedenthal (born January 14, 1900 in Posen , † 1987 ) was a German physician.
Life
Friedenthal lived in Palestine from 1920 to 1928. After his return to Germany, he was the president of the German Makkabi sports association from 1934 to 1936 . From 1935 until his emigration to Palestine in 1938 , he was the chairman of the Reich Association of Jewish Sports Clubs. In 1936 he was the executive chairman of the Zionist Association for Germany .
His office was destroyed during the Reichspogromnacht on November 9, 1938.
From 1952 to 1968 he worked in Jaffa as director of the Donollo hospital.
Around 1913 he worked at the University of Berlin with the Hungarian doctor Pál Szily on early research on the pH scale, particularly with regard to applications in medicine.
