Hans Friedrich Georg Julius Sudendorf (also known as Hermann Sudendorf ; * 1812 ; † 1879 ) was a German historian and state archivist.

Life

Little is known about Hans Friedrich Georg Julius Sudendorf. He was born in 1812 and was appointed real archive secretary in 1851 . In his later time as the state archivist at the royal archive in Hanover , he published source materials as books that are still popular with historians today. His work on the history of the people of Lower Saxony was awarded a prize.
