Hans Günter Hafke

Hans Günter Hafke (born November 11, 1949 in Jülich ; † October 14, 2011 there ) was a German SPD politician .

education and profession

Hans Günter Hafke graduated from secondary school in 1963. He then began training as a high-voltage electrician, which he completed in 1966 as a skilled worker. For another two years he trained as a measurement and control technician; he received this degree in 1975. In 1981 he became chairman of the works council of the Jülich AG sugar factory .

politics

Hans Günter Hafke had been a member of the SPD since 1975. From 1992 to 1998 he was chairman of the SPD district Jülich-Stadt. He became deputy chairman of the SPD parliamentary group in the Düren district council in 1995. In 1999 he was elected social policy spokesman for the SPD district parliamentary group. He acted as chairman of the intercultural committee of the Düren district from 1999. From 1995 to 2000 he was chairman of the intercultural committee of the Düren district.

He had been a member of the Food, Beverage, and Restaurants union since 1964 . Hafke was Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Düren Society for Employment Promotion (DGA).

Hans Günter Hafke was a directly elected member of the 13th State Parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia from 2000 to 2005 and was a full member of the Committee on Food, Agriculture, Forests and Nature Conservation, the Legal Committee and its Executive Commission. As a deputy member, he was a member of the Media Committee and the Petitions Committee.
