Hans Gassner

Johann "Hans" Gassner (born October 2, 1898 in Triesenberg ; † March 31, 1973 there ) was a Liechtenstein politician (FBP).

biography

Gassner was the son of Gottlieb Gassner and his wife Philomena (née Bühler). He was a citizen of the Triesenberg community. From 1928 to 1946 he was an employee of the government chancellery. In addition, he acted from 1930 to 1945 as the secretary of the state parliament . From 1946 to 1963 he headed the land registry.

Politically, he was active in the Progressive Citizens' Party (FBP) and held for this 1951-1966 the post of community leader of Triesenberg. He was also a member of the state parliament of the Principality of Liechtenstein from 1957 to 1958 and from 1962 to 1966. From 1958 to 1962 and from 1966 to 1970 he was a deputy member.

In 1927 he married Frieda Nägele. The marriage had three children.
