Hans Gisevius

Hans Gisevius (born January 2, 1861 in Memel , † March 19, 1938 in Berlin-Schlachtensee ) was a German lawyer and administrative officer.

Life and activity

After attending school, Gisevius studied law. On March 22, 1888 Gisevius was appointed court assessor. On July 24, 1890, he was appointed government assessor.

On June 156, 1895, Gisevius was appointed to the provincial school council in Poznan. On January 1, 1897, he moved to the Provincial School College in Koblenz. He was retired on March 11, 1926.

In the 1920s and 1930s Gisevius was a member of the Evangelical General Synod .

Gisevius' son was the lawyer, police officer and resistance fighter against the Nazi system Hans Bernd Gisevius .
