Hans Greger

Hans Greger (born January 29, 1881 in Bratelsbrunn , † September 11, 1964 in Vienna ) was an Austrian hotelier and politician. Greger was married and from 1934 to 1938 a member of the Burgenland Landtag .

Greger was born as the son of the business owner Josef Greger from Bratelsbrunn. He attended the elementary school in Bratelsbrunn and the community school in Vienna. Greger then graduated from the teacher training college in Krems, where he graduated from high school in 1900. Greger subsequently served as a one-year volunteer between 1900 and 1901 and was then a career officer in the Kuk Infantry Regiment Hoch- und Deutschmeister No. 4 until 1906 . In 1906 he entered the civil service and became an official of the general management of the Southern Railway Company. Between 1914 and 1918 he did his military service, after which he was an official of the Austrian State Railways from 1918 to 1920. From April 29, 1925, Greger was a hotelier in Eisenstadt and ran the “White Rose” hotel. He was appointed chamber councilor in 1937.

Greger was Vice President of the State Chamber of Commerce for Burgenland in 1938 and in 1938. From November 11, 1934 to March 12, 1938, he was a member of the State Parliament in Burgenland and represented the state of the "trade".
