Hans Groebe

Hans Groebe (born September 29, 1916 in Breslau ) is a former German industrial manager. From 1970 to 1976 he was chairman of the board ( general manager ) of the electrical company AEG - Telefunken .

Career

The son of a high school professor completed a commercial apprenticeship with the AEG (Allgemeine Elektricitäts-Gesellschaft) from 1935 and served in the Wehrmacht during the Second World War . After the end of the war he studied law at the University of Freiburg and received his doctorate in 1949. Then he was employed again in the AEG group.

From June 1970 to July 1976 Groebe was chairman of the board of AEG-Telefunken. His successor was Walter Cipa .
