Hans Herlin
Hans Herlin (born December 24, 1925 in Stadtlohn ; † December 20, 1994 in Autun (Bourgogne, France)) was a German writer and journalist.
During his military service in World War II , Hans Herlin fled to Switzerland in 1944 . After the war he studied German. He became a journalist for Stern magazine and, in 1971, head of publishing at Fritz Molden Verlag . He had lived in France since 1977, where he died of a heart attack in 1994. His books have been translated into 18 languages, some of which were used as templates for film productions.
