Hans Hobl

Hans Hobl (born July 4, 1927 in Vienna ; † September 14, 2011 ibid) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and community worker. From 1970 to 1987 Hobl was a member of the Austrian National Council .

Life

After completing compulsory school, Hobl graduated from the Federal Trade School Vienna I in the higher department for mechanical engineering and between 1947 and 1964 initially worked as a specialist in the traffic engineering department of the city of Vienna. Afterwards he was an expert for the driver and vehicle test, constantly sworn expert for road safety and a freelance engine journalist.

Hobl began his political career between 1964 and 1970 as district chairman in Vienna- Ottakring and represented the SPÖ between March 31, 1970 and November 15, 1987 in the National Council. He was also a member of the transport committee and technical advisor for noise abatement of the Austrian Association of Cities and from 1978 Vice President of Konsum Austria.
