Hans Holmqvist (born April 27, 1960 in Stockholm ) is a former Swedish football player in the position of striker .

career

Holmqvist started his career at Djurgårdens IF , where he played until 1983. He then went to Hammarby IF , from where he moved to Fortuna Düsseldorf in the Bundesliga in the summer of 1984 . After two seasons with 19 goals in 59 games, he went back to Hammarby IF. In 1987 he moved abroad again, this time to BSC Young Boys . After 30 games and ten goals, he joined AC Cesena in 1988 in Serie A , where he was active for two years. In 1991 he went back to Sweden and played for Örebro SK until 1992 .

Holmqvist appeared in 28 international matches for Sweden .
