Hans Jürgen Fahn (born July 9, 1952 in Aschaffenburg ) is a German local and state politician ( free voters ).

Private

He comes from Sommerau (Eschau) , today a district of Eschau (Lower Franconia) . There he attended elementary school. In 1971 he graduated from the Friedrich-Dessauer-Gymnasium in Aschaffenburg. He then studied economics, geography, social studies and history at the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg from 1971 to 1976 , received his doctorate in geography in 1978 and in 1979 became a grammar school teacher in the fields of geography, politics and economics at the Hermann Staudinger grammar school in Erlenbach . He held the teaching post until he moved into the state parliament in 2008.

He is Roman Catholic , married and has three sons.

Political career

In 1988 Fahn joined the Free Voters. In 1990 he moved into the district council of Miltenberg . From 2002 to 2008 he was also a city councilor in Erlenbach . In the state elections in 2008 , he ran in the constituency Aschaffenburg-Ost , but moved into the Bavarian state parliament for the first time via a list position in the constituency of Lower Franconia .

He is spokesman for generational politics, spokesman for displaced persons and refugees as well as spokesman for development policy for the FREIEN VÄHLER parliamentary group, since October 2013 head of the social and health group, spokesman for integration, integration council of the Bavarian state government, member of the labor and social affairs, family and integration committees, federal committee and European affairs as well as regional relations, study commission "Actively shaping integration in Bavaria and giving direction".
